The rest of the album is pretty, pretty good too.

I also have a flickr site www.flickr.com/photos/alexbynature/ I'd really like another one for found images like the excellent http://www.flickr.com/photos/benpearce/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/75353784@N00/ In the meantime maybe I'll start filling space here with stuff I've begged/borrowed/stolen, in a not-for-profit, friendly-spreading-the-word kind of way. The photo above is mine though.

Why is there something instead of nothing?

There just is.

As the last person in London to get broadband (thanks NTL/Virgin/BT etc.) I've only recently had the luxury of wasting both my free time and my work time in front of a computer screen. I'm slowly re-learning how to use the internet, that is to actually read articles and follow interesting links rather than just scan flickr pages with the cursor hovering over the minimize button.

In the course of this re-education I keep getting a strong urge to tell someone about this or that blog, photo, artist etc, and maybe even to enter into the odd discussion. This seems like as good a way as any, and better than bothering my harder working friends with endless links to things they "have to check out!!!". At the very worst I might learn to type a bit faster.

It begins. . .
